The right to assurance that all personal and medical information, including the medical record, will be kept confidential.
The right to receive appropriate assessment and treatment for pain.

The right to be protected from verbal and non-verbal abuse during their visit or stay in the hospital.

Patient Duties:
To take into account the rights and privacy of other patients and hospital staff.
To provide complete and accurate information about their current complaints, medical history, any allergies to any medications, and all matters related to their health.
To report any change in their health or any feeling of lack of improvement.
Follow the treatment plan prescribed by his doctor.
Accept responsibility for refusing treatment or not following the treatment plan.
Keep appointments or cancel them in advance.
Take into account that some patients’ conditions may require more attention than his own and for this reason they will have priority.
Adhere to safety rules, including the no-smoking rule.
Protect hospital property from damage or theft.
Promptly pay any financial costs related to the healthcare he receives or any other medical services.
Complete the forms for surgical procedures or laboratory tests and the (leaving the hospital against medical advice) form if he insists on leaving.
